Improvisation

Improvisation is a great technique that helps all speakers become more comfortable speaking on the spot. Sometimes we are given opportunities that allow for little to no time to prepare for a speaking engagement. When these times arise, the experience you can gain from learning to improvise will greatly help you appear calm and confident. According to

Panic/Anxiety/Recovery Center (PARC) there are many benefits to improvisation:

  • Increased Confidence.

  • Improved Public Speaking Skills.

  • Enhanced Acting Abilities.

  • Gained Comfort in Social Settings.

  • Refined Brainstorming Abilities.

  • Improved Listening and Observation Skills.

  • Enhanced Creative-Thinking Abilities.

  • Improved Decision-Making Skills.

  • Team Development Skills.

This phenomenal video was posted from the official YouTube channel of Toastmasters International which focuses on helping others develop better communication and leadership skills.
