Public Speaking

I am a junior at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and will obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Media Communication with a Speech minor next spring, May 2016. My current career goals include applying for my teacher's licensure in speech/journalism to teach on the secondary grade-level. Overtime, I wish to obtain a Master's Degree in Speech and teach as a professor. I declared my speech minor after entering college my freshman year and falling in love with my beginning speech course. Over the course of my college career my communication skills have strengthened, broadened, and my fears of public speaking have dissipated. The ability to speak in front of others and share my ideas, opinions, and stories is an exciting feeling! There's nothing quite like sharing personal experiences and connecting with your audience. I desire to help others feel passionate about public speaking and lose their fears by helping them prepare for whatever speech path they endure.
